Children’s Books

I am always creating and working on children’s books and tend to create them in series to enhance world building. alongside Comfort Corner is a world of witches and eerie creatures all with their own stories to tell.

Working Practice

Pencils bring me joy. I fear I am addicted to collected them as well as playing around with them and seeing what they create. each and every illustration is hand drawn and created from scratch with no AI or digital influence. I build each illustration with layers of watercolour and pencils and sometimes inks.

Style

I must make note of my butterfly mind that means that I cannot stick to one style. I love bold line and colour, cosy whimsical drawings and sometimes even the human form. As with my writing I am forever exploring the physical and emotional a world, greatly inspired by the every day humanity, the intricate fantasy of world building and nature herself in all her prickly, ever changing promise and glory.
